Newent Spring Fayre is a new, annual celebration held in March, as part of the Golden Triangle Daffodil Season. The Fayre offers an opportunity for the community to come together, shake off those winter blues and celebrate the natural glory of springtime.

The Fayre offers a value for money family day out, with live entertainment, food and drink, activities for all ages and local arts and crafts. the day raises money for local good causes and is organised and run by volunteers.

Create Newent was able to support the organisers with finance and insurance, grant applications, relevant licence applications and organisational support.

The sun shone on the day and community members and visitors gathered to enjoy morris dancing, live music, history walks, puppet shows, a range of traditional games and stalls from local craftspeople and community groups.

Supporting Local Good Causes

In 2025 Newent Spring Fayre raised funds for Gloucester Samaritans, Glebe Infants School Library Fund and the Lords Larder Food Bank. £150 was donated to each good cause.
